Dear Faculty, Post-Docs, and Graduate Students:
The UIC Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Research Journal is seeking faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to be a part of the team for peer-reviewing original undergraduate research articles. The journal is an initiative from the Honors College, the Office of Undergraduate Research, the University Library, and the Graduate College, which aims to disseminate the scholarly work of UIC undergraduate students.
UIC’s Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Research Journal’s mission is to provide a student-led open-access platform for work across all fields. The graduate student’s responsibility is to critically review submitted research articles within his or her own discipline. The reviewers will also provide recommendations on the inclusion of articles in the journal.
The time commitment is expected to be low and this position would provide a great chance to meet and help budding researchers, editors, and writers. If interested please send an email to UICUndergradResearchJournal@gmail.com and click here to fill out the form. Please also indicate if you are interested in being a section editor, leading the peer review process in your broader subject area, e.g. Arts; Humanities; Social Sciences; Health Sciences; Natural Sciences; Physical Sciences; Engineering; Education; Business.
